South African singer and actress Pam Andrews landed in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Friday with her Polish husband, Voytek Pieron, and her son, Cidjey.
The 40-year-old former Rhythm City actress documented her return home on social media, expressing her happiness and excitement to be back in South Africa after a lengthy stay in London, United Kingdom.
“Just landed in Johannesburg 🥳 I’m so happy to be home 🥰,” Pam wrote on Instagram.
In another post, Pam mentioned how much Rhythm City was loved, saying people still call her Gail when they see her.
“And the weird thing is, every time I walk outside and someone you know says Pam or Gail or whatever, or something. It still surprises me because it’s been five and a half years since I was just, you know… So I guess I have to get used to that again, and I’m actually very surprised that they even remember me,” Andrews said.
“I mean, I’m flattered of course, but I still need to get used to it. Just like people calling your name when you walk past them and stuff. I mean it’s nice, I have good memories from Rhythm City days and stuff,” she added.

She launched her acting career as Frankie on e.tv’s Backstage, had a stint on Tshisa and secured her role as Gail October, the partner of David Genaro (played by the late Jamie Bartlett), on Rhythm City in 2007.
She left the show in 2015 after seven years, citing a desire to focus on her music career and other projects, only to return two years later.
Recently, in March 2025, Andrews revealed that she has been married to Pieron for 11 years, adding that they don’t live together and are in an open marriage.
She was previously married to the father of her child, French engineer Cedric Thivillon, from 2008 until their divorce in 2012.
