Aspiring polygamist and reality TV personality Mpumelelo “Sbindi” Mseleku has once again stirred controversy after posting a picture on social media of his newlywed wife, Amahle Biyela, alongside his baby mama, Tirelo Kale.
The post quickly ignited heated debate online, with many Instagram users criticising Tirelo for what they described as allowing herself to be placed in a “demeaning” position.
Mpumelelo recently paid lobola for Amahle Biyela, a moment captured on Izingane Zesthembu.
However, the move reportedly blindsided Tirelo, who had been in a relationship with him before Amahle.
Despite this, Mpumelelo has always been vocal about his plan to marry a virgin first, before any of the women who have already borne him children.
This controversial stance was also one of the reasons why Vuyokazi Nciweni chose to leave the relationship, as both she and Tirelo were never considered for the position of first wife, despite being with him before Amahle.
Following in the footsteps of his father, Musa Mseleku, the young reality star proudly showcased both women on his Instagram account, sparking waves of mixed reactions.
Musa previously revealed that Tirelo’s parents had refused lobola, insisting that their daughter must first finish her studies before committing to marriage. As a result, Amahle’s bride price was paid first.
Mpumelelo’s post has since fueled a storm of online criticism, with many questioning his approach to love, respect, and polygamy in the public eye.
