Reality TV star Jojo Robinson has publicly addressed her fallout with fellow Real Housewives of Durban cast member and close friend, Nonku Williams.
Taking to social media, Jojo reflected on their friendship, which had become a beloved bond among fans of the show.
“The way I’ve avoided this post… but it’s gotten to the point where I just want to address it,” Jojo began.
She expressed her sadness at the social media speculation suggesting their friendship was only for the cameras.
“Seeing comments saying this friendship didn’t matter, that it was for work, is really hard to see. It was very real and it was filled with love and sisterhood.”
In a direct message to Nonku, Jojo wrote: “Dear Nonkie Nonks, I hope you find peace and love with whoever you choose in this life. I loved every second we spent together and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared and the fact that you were a big part of my journey in this life.”
While acknowledging that they are heading in different directions, Jojo said she hopes they will reconnect one day.
“For now, because I know someone will send this to you, know that I’m grateful for you… Regardless of what happened, we always had each other. And now maybe it is time for us to start our journey as just Nonku and Jojo, not JoKu anymore.”
She also offered forgiveness and took responsibility for any hurt caused: “I forgive you, and I’m also sorry for any part I played that upset you. I understand now… and I’m okay.”To fans who followed their friendship with admiration, Jojo added a note of gratitude:
