Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly engaging in rehabilitation and self-help programmes while in custody, as he awaits sentencing later this year on prostitution-related charges.
According to TMZ on Tuesday, sources indicate that Combs has enrolled in the STOP program, which focuses on the prevention of sexual assault, domestic, and dating violence.
He is also understood to be participating in a drug abuse therapy programme led by Dr. Harry K. Wexler.
Combs was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges on 2 July, following an eight-week trial. However, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Prosecutors are seeking a minimum sentence of 51 months in prison, while his defence team is advocating for a baseline of 21 months.
By his sentencing date of 3 October, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder will have spent 13 months in jail, having been denied bail after the verdict.
