Reality TV star Kabelo “Mrs J” Jantjies, known for her appearance on The Mommy Club Johannesburg, recently took to Instagram to celebrate a major milestone – her firstborn daughter’s 18th birthday.
In a heartfelt post shared over the weekend, the proud mom expressed her unconditional love for her daughter, writing, “Weekend recap, celebrating our firstborn. 18 years of pure bliss, Love, and God’s mercy. May God’s light continue to shine upon your life. You are dearly loved by us Angel. Forever and always.”
The short but sweet tribute was warmly received by fans, many of whom have followed Mrs J’s journey on the hit reality TV show.
Mrs J rose to fame during season 3 of The Mommy Club, where she quickly became a fan favorite for her grace, poise, and honesty about balancing motherhood, friendships, and personal growth.
Despite her popularity, the season ended on a sour note for the reality star.
At the reunion, she voiced her disappointment with the production team, accusing them of unfair treatment.
She revealed that none of the scenes she filmed with her children made it to the final cut and mentioned that her daughter wasn’t invited to the reunion, despite some cast members’ children being present.
“Week in, week out, we all had hopes that the scene with my children would play out, but it did not. No explanation, nothing. I really feel like my children were discriminated from day one till the very last.
“I mean, not even an invite for the reunion. As a Mother, my number one role is to always and forever protect my kids. How do you explain to the child why they are not invited? But anyway, as unkind as it is, we move on. Hope you all enjoy part 2 of the reunion”.
