Seasoned business news anchor Nzinga Qunta has been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa.
This significant milestone marks a successful career transition for Qunta, who previously enjoyed over a decade of prominence in radio and television.
Qunta, known for anchoring SABC News’ flagship business bulletin OnPoint, had a distinguished media career.
Her notable achievements include facilitating discussions at the World Economic Forum’s virtual Davos Dialogues in 2021, engaging with CEOs and the South African President on the economy, and consistently MCing the South Africa Investment Conference since its inception, even interviewing Alibaba founder Jack Ma.
Her best friend, media personality and actress Pearl Thusi, was present to celebrate Qunta’s momentous day.
“It feels wonderful to have been admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa.
“I am so grateful to those pictured and those not for the guidance and assistance along the way,” Qunta stated, expressing gratitude for the guidance and assistance she received along her path.
