Kaya 959’s traffic reporter, Juliet Joseph, enjoyed her much-anticipated date with Lethabo last week at Tasty Nation Eatery.
This followed Juliet’s on-air revelation that she was searching for a Valentine’s date, which prompted several listeners to pitch their cases live on air, all vying for the chance to take her out.
The entries were narrowed down to a shortlist of five, and listeners ultimately voted for Lethabo, a 34-year-old from Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, to be Juliet’s suitor.
The pair met for the first time at Tasty Nation Eatery, located in Chilli Lane Shopping Centre, Sunninghill, to get to know each other.
On the day of their date, Lethabo shared that he was “excited” to meet Juliet and had been “looking forward to the date all week.”
Juliet also described the experience positively, saying, “The date was amazing. I really enjoyed it.”
Following their meeting, Lethabo was clearly impressed with Juliet. He expressed, “Juliet is such a lovely person. She’s great fun. From the experience I had tonight, I’m really hoping for a second date with her because she’s truly wonderful.”
Juliet, however, felt the date was ‘pleasant but lukewarm.’ Despite this, she didn’t rule out the possibility of a second date.
