Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh’s wife Dr. Sumaya Hendricks recently obtained her PhD.
Dr. Sumaya Hendricks leads the Nelson Mandela Foundation’s early childhood development (ECD) program as the team leader for discourse and advocacy.
She graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with honors in economics and the University of Cape Town with a bachelor of commerce degree in politics, philosophy, and economics.
She now holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh, beaming with pride, commemorates a significant milestone in his wife Sumaya Hendrick’s academic career. The writer and artist expressed his joy and affection for Sumaya, who recently earned her PhD, on social media.
