South African actor Oros Mampofu has shared his pride and joy following his daughter’s graduation.
Expressing his heartfelt sentiments, Oros wrote to his daughter, “Well done, my princess. I always knew you could do it.”
Over a year ago, Oros Mampofu made headlines when he shaved his head in a touching gesture of support for his partner, Bianca Carmichael, during her post-partum journey. The couple welcomed their second child in November 2022.
Post-partum hair loss is a common experience for many women. During pregnancy, elevated hormone levels cause hair to become thicker and fuller. However, once these hormones stabilise after childbirth, the body naturally sheds the excess hair. Bianca was going through this phase when Oros decided to shave his head in solidarity.
“A fresh start,” wrote the mother of two in a social media post. “Post-partum hair loss is a real thing in my life. Parts of my head were bald, so I had to cut my hair. This sweet man of mine also went bald to make me feel better. Love you, man.”
In response, Oros assured Bianca of his unwavering support, promising to always stand by her side.
