Ronwen Williams has been nominated for three CAF Awards.
It was announced on Thursday night that the goalie had been nominated for three Confederation of African Football Awards.
The nominees fall into three categories: Player of the Year, CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, and CAF Interclub Player of the Year.
Ronwen Williams’ 2024 was a year of extraordinary performance. He led Mamelodi Sundowns to another league title. His constant performance earned him the PSL Player of the Season award.
On the international level, Williams captained Bafana Bafana admirably, leading them to the 2024 AFCON semifinals. His performances in the penalty shootout versus Cape Verde, where he saved four shots, cemented his reputation as one of Africa’s best goalkeepers.
