The African National Congress (ANC) has announced that it will temporarily withdraw its vote of no confidence in City of Tshwane Mayor Cilliers Brink. This comes after Brink filed a high court challenge on Thursday questioning the motion’s lawfulness citing procedural irregularities.
Brink is accused of failing to ensure proper service delivery in the city. The vote on Brink’s future as the capital city’s number-one resident was scheduled on Friday.
