Bathu sneaker brand founder and CEO, Theo Baloyi is celebrating yet another milestone for his shoe brand as he opens his 34h store at Mall of Africa
Since launching its first store in Newtown, Johannesburg, a few months ago in 2018, the business has rapidly grown its reach, now boasting an impressive total of 34 locations nationally.
The award-winning businessman opened his first warehouse in 2019, and earlier this year, in April, he held a grand opening for the spacious new 11,000-square-meter warehouse.
According to Baloyi, Bathu Group is 70% retail, which is the core of the firm. Twenty percent is committed to financial services, and ten percent to licensing.
He took to social media to share the ribbon-cutting ceremony which took place on Tuesday at Mall of Africa.
