Popular TikToker Primo recently opened up about how a former team member stole a quarter of a million from him.
Primo is one of the most followed TikTokers in South Africa, with over a million followers.
During an interview with a Botswana-based podcast, Primo revealed that over R250k was stolen from him.
“Someone stole a lot of money from me. When I realised the amount that they stole from me, I realised that I might be making a little bit of money. It’s a quarter of a mill. This was a very close person in my team. We’re down to three now. R250k.”
Primo, who was reluctant to divulge the sensitive situation, said that it’s “not nice to work that hard for your money, and then someone just pulls up like that and it’s gone.”
He shared: “They lied first. The brand I was working with pays as soon as I’m done. I waited a whole month, checking if the payment had come through. My PA said only a portion of came in.
“I asked for it when I was leaving for Bloem. She said she was going to send it to me, and she went MIA for a couple of days.”
The social media personality revealed that he is now implementing stricter measures within his team.
