Will Smith has verified the rumors on fan sites that have been going around for months—that a new album is coming out.
Smith performed at the BET Awards with his brand-new gospel tune, “You Can Make It.”
During an interview published on Instagram by Black Film Allies, Smith shares information on his first project since Lost and Found in 2005.
“Over the past year and a half, I’ve been in the studio,” he tells the interviewer. “I have a project that is the most personal and powerful music project I’ve ever done. The idea of the music is, ‘Dance in your darkest moments.’”

‘Dance in your darkest moments.’”
Given that the phrase “Dance In Your Darkest Moments” has its own website and Instagram profile, it appears that this could indeed be the album title.
It is described as “A human wellness initiative inspired by Smith that aims to inspire self-exploration, encourage acceptance, and cultivate a celebration for life.”
