Our very own South African superstar Nomzamo Mbatha will be a guest at another international event.
The 30-year-old will be appearing at the the Global Citizen’s COVID-19 concert, ‘Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World’.
She shared the exciting news on her social media pages.

“The news is out, we are hosting the biggest reunion concert. I will be joining the @glblctzn #VaxLive concert to amplify the message on VACCINE EQUITY,” she wrote.
The concert aims to raise money to ensure that there is equal and fair distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to different populations and people of all classes.
It will bring together world leaders, entertainers, and business people.
Mbatha has called for businesses to donate to the good cause.
“I’m calling on BUSINESS to donate FUNDS for the acquisition of doses, G7 GOVERNMENTS to share EXCESS doses and for PHARMA companies to make vaccines available at NOT FOR PROFIT prices!, “she wrote on Instagram.

The concert will will be pre-recorded at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
There will be performances from artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and H.E.R.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and US President Joe Biden will also lend their voices at the event.
“Over the past year, our world has experienced pain, loss, and struggle — together. Now we need to recover and heal — together,” Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Global Citizen.
“We can’t leave anybody behind. We will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone, everywhere has equal access to the vaccine. We must pursue equitable vaccine distribution, and in that, restore faith in our common humanity. This mission couldn’t be more critical or important,” he added.
