A life for a chocolate? A 13-year old boy has died after allegedly being locked in a cold room overnight for reportedly shoplifting.
Angry community members of Ratanda, threatened to burn down the Shoprite store in Ratanda, Heidelberg after the store manager reportedly locked the boy in the icy fridge after being caught with a chocolate bar he had stolen.
As reported by anti-crime activist, Yusuf Abramjee, community members are demanding answers and authorities are on site to prevent members from storming into the store.
It is at this stage unclear when the boy was locked in the cold room.
