Orlando Pirates footballer Sipho Chaine mourns the loss of his mother.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper shared an emotional post about how hard he’s taking the passing of his mom.
“A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried. And neither would a million tears, I know because I’ve cried.
I finally understand this quote.
Ma, You’ve fought the good fight, You’ve finished the race, you’ve kept the Faith.
Finally there is laid up for you the crown of Righteousness. I thank God for your life. You’ve taught me JESUS and that is the greatest gift.
I will Hold on to Him to guide me as I navigate this new world without you, as I run my race to fulfill my purpose.”
Sipho Chaine thanked family, friends, Orlando Pirates Football Club, and supporters for the outpouring of love during this difficult time.
The loss of his mom came on 09 March and this was the first time since her passing that Sipho shared anything about his loss.
Sipho’s mother is one of his biggest supporters and used to show up at most of his games.
