Kensington Palace has responded to the online frenzy surrounding the whereabouts of Kate Middleton who hasn’t been seen in public since Christmas 2023.
As “Where is Kate Middleton?” conspiracy theories continue to swirl on social media, some bizarre enough to suggest the Princess of Wales is recovering from BBL surgery, the Palace has attempted to calm the storm that is apparently brewing.
The Palace said it was clear about the timeline for the Princesses’ recovery and said there would only be updates if there is significant information to share.
“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.
She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible, and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.
Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.”
Kate Middleton was reportedly admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery on 16 January, and the Palace’s last update regarding her recovery came on the 29th January, when the Princess returned home after two weeks in hospital.

While the Palace is hoping to stop the online frenzy over Kate’s whereabouts, one of the more controversial theories is that the wife of the next heir to the throne, Prince William has decided to divorce him due to numerous cheating scandals on his part.
Prince William is alleged to have had an affair with the couple’s mutual friend, Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
The alleged affair is rumoured to have started in 2019, but neither Kate, William nor Rose have spoken about the rumours publicly.
After King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, this meant it would only be a matter of time before William and Kate would step up to the throne.
However, if there’s trouble in Kensington Palace, and Kate is moving ahead with the divorce, this will throw a spanner in the works to William’s ascension.
Princess Kate Middleton is only set to return to public appearances after Easter.
