Controversial founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, Pastor TB Joshua, has urged his followers to “pray for YouTube” after Emmanuel TV blocked his popular ‘prophetic’ channel over allegations of hate speech against LGBTQIA+ people.
This follows one of his viral YouTube videos, which has been watched by more than 1.5 million times. The video raised eyebrows, as a woman is seen being hit violently to “cure” her of her sexual orientation.

YouTube closed the pastor’s channel with more than 1.8 million subscribers and 600 million views. In his response to Emmanuel TV’s YouTube suspension he shared these words on his Twitter page:
“Good Morning! I want to salute our viewers all over the world. I got to know what happened to @YouTube when I saw viewers complaining. That is the work of God! It is like honey. Wherever it drops, insects seek and find it.”

Facebook has also taken action against him, removing several videos on Joshua’s page, which has 5.6 million followers.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations is a church that has gained popularity across the world, however it is based in Nigeria, one of the most religious countries in Africa where homosexuality is punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
