“I’m stepping out of my comfort zone” – Shimza announces global Afrohouse and Afrotech radio show.
Ashley Raphala, better known by her stage name Shimza, begins the year with a brand-new initiative meant to advance and expand the culture.
Shimza is no stranger to trying new things and was well-praised at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown when he and PH partnered with Channel O to host a Lockdown House Party in association with Hunters Cider.
The South African DJ announced on Twitter that he will be showcasing the genres of Afrohouse and Afrotech music on a radio show.
“Another platform to promote and grow the culture! Every week this year I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and hosting a radio show that will be showcasing Afrohouse and Afrotech. Once a month I will also be having guest mixes on the show! Let gooo!!!”
