Messages of well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery are pouring in for Black Coffee who was injured in a travel accident on a flight to Mar El Plata, Argentina.
The extent of the South African DJ and music producer’s injuries is unknown at this stage, but the statement from his team offers reassurance that the Grammy award winning artist is receiving the best medical attention.
Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa shared that Black Coffee’s family is with him.
“I wish you a speedy recovery. You have done so much to elevate South African music and take it to the world.
I spoke to Black Coffee’s family last night who are with him. All the best in your recovery Mashiane, Zukuzela, Masiyana.”
The EFF, ActionSA, a number of South African celebrities and fans have all shared messages of well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery for Black Coffee.
“Be present in your goodness with your servant, that his weakness may be banished and his strength restored; and that, his health being renewed, he may bless your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. #BlackCoffee you are in my prayers.”
