Trevor Noah gets nominated for a Golden Globe and announces a new Netflix special.
Trevor Noah has received his first-ever Golden Globe nomination.
The 39-year-old Noah, best known for his time as The Daily Show’s US host, has received a great deal of praise from around the globe.
The announcement of the nominees was made on Monday.

For his Netflix special “Where Was I,” Noah is vying for a prize in the recently created Best Performance in Stand-up Comedy on Television category.
On January 7, 2024, in Los Angeles, the 81st Golden Globe Awards will take place to honour the greatest in American television and motion pictures.

“Where was I?”
On Monday, Noah unveiled his Netflix special “Where Was I” which is set to debut on December 19.
David Paul Meyer is the director of Where Was I, which was filmed at Detroit’s Fox Theatre.
This is the multi-award-winning comedian’s fourth for Netflix following I Wish You Would, Son of Patricia, and Afraid of the Dark.
Noah took to social media to share the trailer of the special
“I’m excited to announce that my new comedy special premieres in 8 days! 😀 ‘Where Was I’ will be available worldwide, December 19th, on @netflix! 🙌🏽” wrote Noah
