Black Friday takes a dark turn – Stage 6 is back.
Eskom has dealt the nation a heavy blow with an announcement that due to a problem with the generation capacity, load shedding will advance to stage 6 on Friday.
Stage 6 load shedding will start on Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday.
The increase comes after warnings were issued all week long that the grid is extremely unstable and that the only way to keep it under control is by reducing demand and performing less maintenance.

Eskom has seen an increase in malfunctions in recent weeks, prompting the group to move to stage 4 on Wednesday, and today announced stage 6.
