Former EFF member Vusi Khoza joins new political party Africa Unite Congress (AUC).
Former EFF member of Parliament, Vusi Khoza has announced his new political home as the new political party called Africa Unite Congress (AUC).
The party which was formed in August (AUC) made it clear after its launch that despite having the majority of its members from the Shembe church, the party is not exclusively associated with the church.
The red berets expelled the former MP and chairperson of the EFF KwaZulu-Natal for neglecting to arrange buses to transport party members to the celebration of the party’s tenth anniversary earlier this year at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
News24 cited EFF Leader Julius Malema in October when they stated that Khoza’s expulsion wouldn’t harm the party in KZN.
“We have expelled so many people since forming the EFF, so what must we do? Vusi Khoza’s time with the EFF is done, and nothing will happen to the EFF. Why would you be scared you will lose votes because you expelled a person who can’t even bring a bus?”

Khoza was announced as one of the new AUC members on Wednesday in Durban and shared how 50 party leaders had asked him to choose their own political party.
“It is a pleasure for me to be given an opportunity to join the organization, in the last month and a half or two months with the matter with my previous organization it started. I have had approaches from almost 50 party leaders who wished that I be associated with their political parties, I have made my choice that I will be associated with Africa Unite Congress (AUC).”
