“We are telling our own stories” – EFF to launch their own podcast on Friday 13th.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have announced that they will be launching a new podcast in an effort to tell their own stories.
The party which was launched in 2013 is currently the third-largest party in both houses of the South African Parliament. They recently opened Winnie Mandela House, their headquarters in Gandhi Square, Johannesburg which has a fully equipped media centre.
The first episode of the EFF Podcast Will Premiere on the EFF YouTube Channel on Friday, 13 October 2023.

EFF’s Deputy President Floyd Shivambu revealed the news on X (Formerly known as Twitter)
“Today we officially received the EFF Podcast studios and recorded the first podcast with the President
@Julius_S_Malema. The first episode of the EFF Podcast Will Premiere on the EFF YouTube Channel on Friday, 13 October 2023. We will thereafter record and broadcast progressive content every week. We are telling our own stories.” wrote Shivambu

Podcasting has blown up internationally in recent years and the popularity of podcasts in South Africa has been largely sparked by the success of Mac G’s Podcast and Chill which recently celebrated a historic milestone of a million subcribers.
EFF President Julius Malema, was interviewed on the same podcast, and his episode is currently the second most viewed interview on the channel with over 2,2 million views.
