Rise Mzansi is ready to host 800 delegates at their ‘Festival of Solutions’ policy conference.
800 delegates will debate Rise Mzansi’s electoral platform at a policy conference next week, according to Songezo Zibi, the party’s leader.
Delegates of the party, which launched in April, will come from all nine provinces and will include both individuals and organizations. They will be discussing a range of issues including family, community, governance, economic recovery, justice, inclusivity, nation-building, and climate change.

On the national engagement prior to the conference.
“There are things that are obvious such as jobs and crime. But there are things that are not normally spoken about in political conversations. One particular thing is hunger, especially in the Eastern Cape, the Northern and Eastern parts of the province, and about 27% of children suffer from stunting, as a result of malnutrition.” said Zibi
On South Africa’s money problem
“South Africa right now has a very serious money problem, which is a result of the governance problem. We also have a water crisis in South Africa, at a time when we were supposed to be building dams, when the whole air-friendly power stations needed to be in place, were too late for them. There were warnings of potential water shortages and we are now there. Unfortunately, it is now too late, and we will have communities that will be unsustainable.” said Zibi
On the policy conference
“We are expecting about 800 people, we might end up with 1,000, as we are trying to accommodate additional people who want to come. It is our volunteers, it is our organizers, which is about half of those people. There are representatives of organizations from right across the country. ” said Zibi
