Renowned international music sensation Anthony Hamilton is back in South Africa to perform his chart-topping singles. But, before taking the stage, he joined The Best T in the City with Tbose at the prestigious Marble Restaurant, where he was hosted by the award-winning chef Benny Masekwameng.
Chef Benny Masekwameng, known for his culinary expertise, treated five lucky listeners and our esteemed guest to a delectable three-course meal. Drawing inspiration from Anthony Hamilton’s own cookbook, Chef Benny added his own local twist to create a truly unique dining experience.
During the culinary experience, Anthony Hamilton shared his deep-rooted passion for cooking, tracing it back to the cherished memories of time spent in the kitchen with his “grandmother and father.” He fondly reminisced about the joy he felt while being in the kitchen with them, witnessing the magic of “meal preparation.”
Motivated by his “love for cooking and the desire to share that experience with others”, Hamilton decided to publish his own cookbook. “There is nothing worse than not having a meal or a chance to feel appreciated and loved,” he said.
In addition to his culinary endeavours, Hamilton and his partner also established the Hamilton Corner Store. This unique establishment offers everything you need, reflecting Hamilton’s own identity and values. “It represents who I am,” he proudly stated.
