Makhadzi has been named Spotify’s Equal Africa Ambassador for the month of September.
She recently released her new album offering “Mbofholowo” on Friday, 1st September, an album she was “music of freedom”, an album she released as an independent artist.
According to Spotify, The program aims to highlight and magnify the voices of African female artists who are breaking down barriers and making waves in music, exposing their catalog to a worldwide audience.
Over the past couple of months Tyla, Elaine, Khanyisa were the featured artists.

She took to Instagram to announce the good news to her fans and thanked God’s timing for the accolade.
“The key is to believe in yourself and wait for your time. If you believe in your talent, then you need to trust and believe in God’s time, we know His time is always the best.”
