The 21-day initial lockdown the President set in March 2020, soon progressed into an on-going lengthening of the lockdown, and now one-year later the restrictions have finally eased.

Things are far from over with a third-wave of the COVID-19 virus expected to hit the country over the Easter holidays, when many South Africans trek back home or take a holiday.
The messaging a year later is still the same, “Mask up. Sanitize. Socially distance and stay safe.”
