A viral video showed a Ndebele man being asked to leave the mall because of his traditional outfit.
Ndebele activist, Thando Mahlangu, was identified as the man in the video.
He says he was told by a security guard at the mall that what he wore seemed like underwear.
Mahlangu told the guard that it was his traditional attire.

The Centre Manager of the mall was called and can be heard in the video asking Mahlangu to leave, citing that he was dressed inappropriately.

The video caused outrage on social media, and the Centre manager, Jose Maponyane, has since been suspended.
Members of the South African National Civic Organisation are planning the demonstration following the incident at the mall.
They are calling for an end to the discrimination of people based on their culture or the colour of their skin.
SANCOs Pascaline Mazibuko says they want to send a strong message to all public facilities.
The South African Human Rights Commission will also be holding a meeting with Ndebele activist Thando Mahlangu.
The Commission says iKosi Mkhambi Mahlangu of AmaNdebele Ndzudza is also expected at the meeting today.
Commissioner Jonas Sibanyoni says people need to be educated about other cultures.
