71 year old man is looking for a wife in the new ‘Golden Bachelor’ reality show.
71-year-old Gerry Turner, a retired restaurateur and the first-ever star of The Golden Bachelor, a new senior dating program on ABC.
The Bachelor has had multiple iterations over the years, and ‘The Golden Bachelor’ has been praised for being the first of its kind.
The ABC network revealed that In 1974, Turner married Toni, his high school love. With their two children, Angie and Jenny, and later, their two granddaughters, Charlee and Payton, they enjoyed 43 years of blissful marriage.
Sadly, Toni died in 2017 after becoming unwell unexpectedly.
With the help of his family and six years having passed since her death, Turner is now prepared to fall in love once more.
