ANC to head to the Supreme Court of Appeal to challenge cadre deployment ruling.
The African National Congress (ANC) will now appeal a High Court judgment directing it to turn over the meeting minutes from its deployment committee to the Supreme Court of Appeal.
Point of View with Phemelo Motene spoke to the DA’s Shadow Minister for Public Administration, Dr Leon Schreiber about why the party wants access to the ruling party’s records.

The party has until Tuesday at the close of business to present emails, WhatsApp discussions, and meeting minutes going back to 2013.
The governing party’s attempt to appeal the decision of the Johannesburg High Court from February was unsuccessful last week.
In 2022, the Democratic Alliance released a documentary explaining why they had a problem with the the ruling party’s cadre deployment policy.
