Toward the end of 2022, former YoTV child star Karabo Ntshweng and her partner David got married traditionally in Rustenburg, North West. This was followed by a white wedding at De Harte Venue in Pretoria.
Speaking to radio personality Mantsoe on her new podcast about her relationship and marriage, Ntshweng revealed that they were dating for twelve years before they got married. “For me, it was never really an important thing. Maybe it was because I was raised by a single mother and my grandmother was divorced as well so marriage was never really something I understood,” she said.
The decision to get married last year made sense because she could see herself spending the rest of her life with David.
“I was just like here is someone that I really love and we are probably going to spend the rest of our lives together. It’s been over a decade now and I am perfect for you and you are perfect for me,” added Ntshweng.
Mantsoe, who was an MC at the wedding commended Karabo and David for their hospitality.
“At the end of it you were like Mantsoe needs to finish and Mantsoe need to have a good time. You and your partner took me to the bar and you were like, she was emceeing – give her whatever bottle she wants. We got so lit when we got to the Airbnb. It was such a fun time, that’s what I really liked about your wedding. I think it’s a reflection of who you and your husband are as a couple,” Mantsoe enthused.
