Three months after his passing, veteran radio personality, Mark Pilgrim’s legacy lives on, after a tribute concert in his name fetched over R100 000.
The money will be donated towards Pilgrim’s favourite charity, Reach For A Dream, who make a memorable difference in the lives of children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Pilgrim who lost his battle to cancer on 05 March, was celebrated at a sold out concert in his honour, “The Pilgrimage Party” on Saturday, 10 June.
The late radio presenter, who hosted a show on Hot 102.7 FM, was just 53-years old at the time of his death.
Mark Pilgrim fought valiantly against Stage 4 cancer, having undergone 7 procedures, whilst being in hospital for 64-days.
