“I don’t understand” – iFani on Universal Music Group blocking his Youtube money.
South African Hip-Hop/Rap artist, MC and television presenter Mzayifani Mzondeleli Boltina, better known as iFani, has voiced out his frustration with Universal Music Group for removing the Milli video.
The musician claimed he owns the song’s masters and that Sony Music Africa has a 5-year license to use the content.
He has criticized Universal Music on Twitter for preventing the release of the music video for his song Milli.

The rapper emphasized in a tweet that he doesn’t understand why Universal rejected his song, despite the fact that he also owns the song’s masters and has a five-year license with Sony.
“Dear @UMGSA @UMG MILLI, why block my Milli? Milli was licensed to @SonyMusicAfrica for 5 years. The masters have always been mine. So, why block my YouTube money? (I don’t understand)” wrote iFani.
