Actress and television presenter Candice Modiselle opens up about her baptism.
Modiselle got baptized on May 28, 2023. She notes that although she was baptized as a baby, she was “far too young to understand the magnitude of the moment.”
Now that she is older and wiser, she has decided “to not be casual about the things of The Kingdom.”
She notes that this public declaration confirms that she dedicates her life to “helping young people discover that they too are fearfully and wonderfully made, set apart, loved, called, and chosen as the righteous sons and daughters of the Almighty. I also long to help us all navigate our way through the hopelessness and brokenness that our nation is plagued with,” said Candice, who has decided to partner with Christ in all things.
Candice thanked her church, Rorisang T, and her family for their continued support. She now re-introduces herself as Tumelo Candice Modiselle.
Ntobeko Sishi gets baptized
Former Gomora actor and musician Ntobeko Sishi recently took to social media to publicly declare his life to God.
“Today I publicly declared my life to ‘The Lord The Lord, the Compassionate and Gracious God.”
Sishi revealed that he “once feared Him as a merciless fascist” and never deemed himself enough to “stand in His presence or to even allow himself to live.”
He added, “It’s great to know that even though those feelings are valid, it is in my very weakness that Christ reaches out and His power is made perfect.”
Sishi struggled to find a place that gave him a sense of belonging until now.
