Elon Musk has appointed a new CEO for Twitter.
Twitter’s new CEO has been found, according to Elon Musk.
Musk revealed in a tweet that he will stop leading the social network as CEO and instead take on the positions of executive chair and chief technology officer.
According to Musk, the new CEO is scheduled to start in six weeks.
“Excited to announce that I’ve a new CEO for X/Twitter,” Musk wrote in the tweet. “She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.” wrote Musk.

Musk still owns Twitter even if he will soon step down as CEO. Twitter Inc. was renamed to X Corp. by Musk recently.
He has had a long-standing goal to create “X, the everything app.”
Musk, who initially offered to buy the social network in April 2022 for $44 billion, did not say specifically who would be filling the position.
Following the acquisition, Musk assumed the role of CEO of Twitter and promptly fired Parag Agrawal and other executive leaders. In November, he then fired half of the social network’s employees.
