
Woman who wrote a book about grief after husband died, has been charged for his murder.
According to US broadcaster NBC News, Kouri Richins has been accused of murdering her husband after writing a children’s book on coping with grief.
She wrote a children’s book, “Are You With Me?” about navigating grief after the loss of a loved one and published it a year after the husband died.

On March 4 of last year, Eric Richins passed away in Utah close to Salt Lake City, she allegedly poisoned him with a deadly dose of the potent synthetic opioid narcotic fentanyl.
According to a probable cause statement, the police were summoned when his wife dialed 911 to report that she had discovered him motionless in their bedroom.

The startling change of events has left the community dealing with the loss of a valued member and attempting to reconcile the accusations made against Kouri, who was previously thought of as a heartbroken widow trying to find consolation in her writing.
CNN reports that in a search warrant affidavit from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Kouri Richins attempted to modify a life insurance policy she had jointly purchased with her husband’s business partner two months prior to his passing to make herself the only beneficiary.
