The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is on a mission to raise money for the party’s 10th birthday celebrations and are pulling out all the stops.
This includes selling a platinum package at their exclusive 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner for R1.2 million.
If you think this is a tall order, then EFF Commander-In-Chief (CIC) Julius Malema has news for you because the table has already been bought.
That’s right, a fellow EFF supporter has scooped up the opportunity to mingle with Malema at the black tie event on 27 July at Emperors Palace.
The R1.2 million baller will be seated at Malema’s table and enjoy drinks, entertainment and a delectable 3-course dinner.
Malema took to Twitter to confirm that his table has been sold, saying, “Platinum is gone, the EFF asked me to sell my table, and I did precisely that.”

There are 3 Gold packages for the EFF gala dinner which will cost R750 000 each, a Silver package at R500 000 and one Bronze package that will set someone back R250 000.
Earlier this week, Malema called on fighters to support the party’s fundraising initiatives to celebrate a decade of the EFF’s existence and continuous fight against corruption.
Malema stressed the importance of donations in the form of cows, groceries and money, saying the EFF has to fund itself or their efforts will be hijacked by others.
The gala dinner is a separate event to the EFF’s 10th anniversary rally which will be taking place on 29 July at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec.
