Cristian Montenegro made headlines recently when he hysterically called paramedics to treat his rag doll wife who was ill.
The 27-year old from Bogot, Colombia, welcomed his third “child” with his cotton-stuffed wife, Natalia Ortiz.
When Natalia felt under-the-weather with a severe headache, the distraught husband and father, frantically called paramedics, begging them to hurry because he didn’t want his wife to die.
“I had to call you because my wife got sick. She fainted several times and complained that her head hurt a lot.
I don’t want her to die, she’s the mother of my children.”

Cristian has shared various moments from his life with Natalia on social media, including their date nights and shopping sprees.
He says he married the rag doll because he grew tired of being single, and wants to spend the rest of his life with Natalia and their family.
Sharing the video of paramedics rushing Natalia to hospital was met with mixed reviews, with some people furious that Cristian wasted valuable emergency medical resources over an inanimate object.
“This is so stupid, when there are real live people out there who are dying and need help ASAP, they’re over there wasting their time with a doll.”

Others felt Cristian had taken his delusional married life too far, saying he needs help.
However, Cristian clapped back at the negative comments saying he doesn’t understand why people make fun of things they don’t understand.
He says his life with his rag doll wife and their kids gives him the same feeling of contentment that photographs or sentimental objects of loved ones who’ve passed gives others.
“I don’t know why people don’t understand that it is loneliness that has caused this. You don’t have to insult me.
When I’m with them I feel the happiness that I did not find with other people.”
Cristian isn’t the first person to have married to a rag doll, because that title belongs to a Brazilian woman.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes, 37, married the ‘love of her life’, Marcelo, a rag doll her mother had made her, in December 2021.
Unfortunately, shortly after welcoming their first child, Moraes found out that her ‘unemployed and lazy’ husband was cheating on her.
Moraes who has two children from a previous relationship said she would stay with her unfaithful husband for the sake of their family.
