Reality television star Jojo Robinson has announced that she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Durban next season. She has been hinting at this throughout the new season.
Jojo Robinson made the announcement through her Instagram stories amid the hostility among the group of ladies.
Robinson apologized to all the young women who are fans of the show.
“I’m sorry, this is not how friendship works. Toxic behavior like this is not normal,” she wrote.
“We as a group had a massive platform to inspire our young girls and instead we have shown nothing but how to hate and fight.”
The reality television star, who’s received criticism for her behavior notes that she was a victim of bullying in high school, and being around the housewives continues to trigger her.
“I was bullied in school and here I am watching similar things happening again on national TV for the whole country to see. In school I had people telling the one friend I had not to be friends with me. And it worked. At one point I remember I would eat lunch in the bathroom so no one would see that I had no friends,” she shared in part.
“Me running away crying…because this is a past trauma I dealt with. And I am reliving it as an adult.”
She then boldly stated, ” I will never do housewives again.”
Robinson also expressed deep regret for bringing her husband Calvin into the show.
Calvin is battling a heart condition and lost his dad a few months before the new season was shot.
