Justice for Kiernan AKA Forbes petition is gaining momentum.
Over 9000 people have signed a petition that is calling for justice for the brutal murder of Kiernan Jarryd ‘AKA; Forbes, and Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.
The petition, which was started by a lady by the name of Lelo N, reflects the frustration of many South Africans with the country’s high crime rate.
On Change.org, a petition titled “Justice for AKA Kiernan Forbes” has been started that criticizes both national commissioner Fannie Masemola and KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

On the petition, she asks for justice for AKA’s murder and pleads with law enforcement to speedily bring the killers to book.
“How many more of our siblings, fathers, mothers need to die senselessly before perpetrators are brought to book. Is it your father, your uncle or MAYBE YOUR BROTHER OR YOUR SON NEXT?”
“Will he be going to the local super market to buy a loaf of bread and then gunned down? We need justice, we need not vote until JUSTICE IS SERVED. Let’s start with AKA’s murder!!”
The petition also addresses both national commissioner Fannie Masemola and KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
