Protesting NEHAWU workers at home affairs take a break to bless a newly married couple.
A surprising scene was shared on social media as songs of jubilation were sung for an unsuspecting couple who had just gotten married.
On Monday, the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU) began its protest against the public sector.
Nehawu and the administration have been engaged in a protracted wage war.
Nehawu has said the government has persisted in pressuring public employees to tolerate extreme poverty, deteriorating inequality, and historically high unemployment.

Nehawu stated that the organization’s requests included a 10% pay raise, an R2,500 housing allowance, a bursary program for the children of public employees.
The newlyweds joined in on the celebrations as the protesting worker blessed their union.
