You know what they say about black people and pets.
There is a stereotype that black people are not that fond of cats.
Gogo Maweni recently made headlines after revealing that she keeps exotic pets in her home, receiving mixed reactions on social media.
The Best T in the City with Tbose asked Kaya 959 listeners what they thought about pets.
A listener shares: “Growing up, we had a neighbour who had a tortuous and a python. We were scared of it and heard many stories in the neighborhood.”
Another listener explains why he’ll never keep a pet in his house.
I could never keep a cat in my house. It leaves fur everywhere. It is too much admin.”
