Fuel price to possibly go up in the coming week.
Fuel prices are expected to be adjusted from next week Wednesday, the 1st of February 2023.
The most recent data from the Central Energy Fund (CEF) daily snapshot indicate that 95 unleaded is anticipated to increase by 32 cents a litre, which would cause the price to rise to R21,15 inland and R21,10 at the coast.

According to the data the following changes are anticipated:
- Petrol 93: increase of 32 cents a litre;
- Petrol 95: increase of 25 cents a litre;
- Diesel 0.05%: increase of 6 cents a litre;
- Diesel 0.005%: decrease of 6 cents a litre;
- Illuminating paraffin: increase of 8 cents a litre.
Unleaded 93 is anticipated to increase by 2 cents per litre, rising to R21,80.
This abrupt change has been influenced by volatile oil prices, and evidence indicates that if price swings for oil continue until the end of the month, the hike might reach 70 cents per litre for unleaded gasoline.
