It’s the day parents have been dreading, kids are back to school after the first term break and this means replacing items on an almost if not daily basis.
From stationery to uniform items, and sometimes the entire school bag itself, Thomas and Skhumba asked parents to share some of the items that their children misplace or lose at school.
With the cost of school uniform, textbooks and stationery, some parents are brought to tears when they calculate how much replacing these items is going to cost them.
Labelling their children’s belongings doesn’t seem to help because some kids simply lose their entire school bag, leaving parents defeated.
If they’re not losing or misplacing items, then things like pencils or crayons come back broken or sharpened until there’s not much left.
