Going into business with a friend? How you should prepare yourself legally?
You’ve probably been thinking about it, and are convinced that you want to start a new business with your close friend.
Although it can be profitable and enjoyable, working with friends can also come with its share of roadblocks.

Kaya Biz with Gugulethu Mfuphi spoke to Dr Mongezi Makhalima an organization development specialist and chartered executive coach about how one should prepare themself legally when entering a business partnership with a close friend.

Makhalima gave advice to Kaya 959 listeners who are intending on starting a business with close acquaintances and legal avenues they need to explore to protect themselves would things get sour.
He asserted that you and your friend might occasionally hold opposing views when working together, just like when dealing with anyone else.
The other key thing to put in mind is that close relationships have a tendency not to go well after a certain time.
He also affirmed that your company’s future success may be influenced by how you handle these differences.
