Trevor Noah recently shared that he would one day love to be married with kids because he thinks it would be a fascinating journey.
Speaking to Meghan Markle on her podcast series Archetypes, the South African comedian who’s never been married before, nor does he have any children, opened up about one day having a family of his own.
Trevor said he thinks he would be the type of father who is a good balance of fun and strict, while also being the parent his child or children would turn to because they trust him.
“I’d love to be a dad one day. I think it would be a fascinating journey to be on. I hope to be the kind of dad where my kid goes, ‘this was a human being who loved me and cared for me and helped prepare me for the world but also appreciated me because they brought me into the world.
I would hope I’ll be the dad who is soft and tough, fun but stern. Someone who wants the best for my child and also isn’t afraid to engage with the child in me.”

What would one of the most eligible bachelors in the world be like as a husband?
Trevor would like to be the kind of spouse who is all about his wife, and will strive to be all that she wants and needs him to be.
“I think we have so many limiting ideas on what marriage is. That’s where I love seeing, Gen Z, as they are called, playing with the ideas of what a relationship is and how a relationship is defined.
The type of husband or partner I want to be is just the best possible puzzle piece for the other person I’m connecting with.”
The former Daily Show host was previously in a long-term, on-again off-again relationship with Minka Kelly. Since their split earlier this year, Trevor has kept mum on his love life, although he was spotted getting cosy with Dua Lipa.
While he denied their relationship when the subject came up on the Daily Show, many of the comedian’s fans thinks he’s playing it safe after being heartbroken.
