The merging of two homes, each with its own set of customs, laws, and restrictions, can usually lead to some issues.
Although the problems might seem complex, they can be resolved with diligence, patience, and modifications.

Point of View with Phemelo Motene spoke to marriage counsellors Magauta and Nhlanhla Zwane on some of the challenges faced by blended families.

The Zwanes spoke about how parenting in a stepfamily differs from parenting when the kids’ biological parents are present.
This is mainly because there are no blood links or shared past, a stepparent and stepchild bond must develop gradually.
Additionally, stepparents will play a variety of responsibilities in various homes.
They also shared ideas on how to navigate some of the challenges you may experience in a blended family.
