38-year-old Tebogo Thobejane is a rising star in the hearts and minds of many South Africans. The actress, social media personality and entrepreneur has recently shared how she made her money on the controversial subscription service OnlyFans. The platform is popular with content creators and sex workers who receive funding directly from their fans every month throughone-time tips and a pay-per-view feature.
Thobejane ventured into OnlyFans last year after the lockdown when clubs and entertainment venues closed and impacted her other streams of income in a few weeks. The actress made it to the “top-earning percentile of the website.”

She shared her story about how she made money, in a recent tell-all interview on MacG’s Podcast and Chill. “During COVID-19, I used to make close to 200 000 thousand a month… and I did it for four months, ” she said.

She spoke about how she steered away from posting explicit adult content, and cautioned girls who joined the platform about being smart about what they post.

“There’s going to be a point where you are going to be pushed to a limit where you are going to be offered something that is so big, that you will do things you will regret.”
Her recent casting as a wedding planner in one of popular soapies, Muvhango, got tongues wagging. Thabejane is not new in the media industry; the AFDA film graduate is also the CEO of Bofa Belts. She became popular for being Faith Nketsi’s best friend and business partner. Both women are co-founders of Feline Model management.
In the interview, she also speaks about her late father, Obed Thobejane, the co-founder of iconic South African hair brand Black Like Me, and the lessons he taught her about business.
